He began his music career in 2015, releasing eight independent mixtapes that garnered regional attention. In 2017, he signed with Atlantic Records and released his debut studio album, Until Death Call My Name, in 2018. The album peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200 chart. YoungBoy has since released multiple successful projects, including AI YoungBoy 2 (2019), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. His music is characterized by its raw and emotional lyrics, often reflecting his personal experiences and struggles.
